Library Hours
Monday 8:00-3:45
(8-3pm if there is a staff meeting)
Tuesday 8:00-3:45
Wednesday 8:00-1:45
(1:30-3pm Arts Academy in Library)
Thursday 8:00-3:45
Friday 8:00-3:30
Checking out a book:
You may check out 4 books at a time
Books are checked out for 2 weeks (10 school days).
We DO NOT charge late fees, but, we will pester you relentlessly if your book is late.
If you have overdue books, we will not check out a new library book to you. Please return your books on time.
Students with missing or seriously overdue books may not be able to attend dances/ movie nights/ etc.
Holds: We will hold a book for you for 3 days if there is a reason why you can't check it out immediately.
Reserves: You can reserve books in OPALS. We will hold it for 3 days. Check your email for confirmation or ask at the library desk.
Renewals: You may renew a checkout for 2 weeks if no one else has reserved it.
Lost books: If you lose a book and it comes back to the library, we will return it and shelve it for you.
If you tell us in advance that you lost it and it gets returned, we will hold it for you.
If a book cannot be found, you must pay for the book to be replaced.
Speak to Ms. Boox or Marina as soon as possible so we can work out an arrangement.
Library Manners & Expectations:
In general:
Use indoor voices
Mute volume on all devices (phone/chromebook)
Do not block walkways
Treat people kindly- use considerate language at all times
No food or drink (except water) allowed in the library
Clean up after yourself
Chromebook use during lunch/break:
Chromebooks available for homework only. Sorry.
When using Chromebooks, please sit in the front 6 tables.
Return Chromebooks to correct place in cart or to librarian at the warning bell
Clean up after yourselves and others
